This 3/16" elongated hex tool is offered to assist in mounting out 6", 4.5" and 3" native 15mm rods to the surfaces of our cages. Standard hex wrenches will not provide the reach or torque needed to fully lock the 6" of 4.5" rods to the camera. You are obviously free to source your own--however we also offer this if you wish to include it in your order.
The tool can also be purchased with the rods for a discounted price.
