The form-fitting cage provides added protection and a wide range of mounting options for handles, monitors, microphones, lights, and other accessories. A secondary camera lock provides an additional point of contact with the X-M5, helping prevent twisting and keeping the camera securely seated in the cage even when fully rigged.
An optional removable top plate with an integrated NATO rail provides a low-profile mounting point for top handles and other NATO accessories. Need the X-M5 for photography? Simply remove the top plate to regain unobstructed access to the camera’s hot shoe.
For more advanced video builds, XLCS 15mm rods can be mounted directly to either the front or rear of the cage, opening up additional rigging possibilities for lens accessories, supports, and other production hardware without requiring a separate baseplate.
An optional HDMI cable lock adds strain relief and helps protect the camera's HDMI connection from accidental pulls or movement during production. An integrated hex-wrench holder keeps the tool needed for your cage conveniently stored on the rig, so it's there when you need to make adjustments.
