The compact design helps secure the Hirose power cable and reduce strain on the camera’s connector, helping prevent unwanted movement or accidental disconnection during production. It’s particularly useful for broadcast, POV, remote-camera, and specialty-camera installations where reliable power is critical.
The lock mounts directly to the XLCS cage and provides added security without unnecessarily increasing the size of the camera package.
