Our updated Backplate/Cheese-plate builds on the brilliant utility of the original--with added 2x 3/8"-16 hoes + Arri spacing pins for more professional accessories. We also added 4x cold shoes so you can easily mount microphone receivers or other accessories on any side regardless of what else is already mounted on your plate.
Furthermore, we adjusted the 1/4"-20 holes to give them true center alignment with the plate--allowing for a more balanced rig when mounting battery plates.
Speaking of battery plates, we now offer optional V-Lock batter adapters and 15mm rod mounts that secure directly to the backplate to turn this into the ultimate solution for your rig. The XLCS Designs Backplate is designed with solutions in mind for helping you get the job done however it suits you best.
